Michael beliveau

Michael Beliveau is a master of sound, a Boston native who has made his mark as an award-winning creative sound designer, re-recording mixer, and composer. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream. As the bassist and co-writer for rock band Crash Kings, Michael achieved success with their #1 hit single "Mountain Man" and toured across the US and Canada. Their music was also featured in blockbuster films like Zombieland and The Iceman. 

But alongside his success as a musician, Michael discovered a passion for sound design while working with some of the top artists in the advertising industry. He found that he had a natural talent for blending his love of music with technical expertise to create captivating soundscapes.

Michael's passion for sound has led him down two paths in the world of audio: sound design and production sound mixing. As a sound designer, Michael weaves together textures and sounds inspired by the depth of his life experiences, taking listeners on unforgettable sonic journeys. But Michael's love for sound doesn't stop there. With over 10 years of experience as a production sound mixer, he has honed his skills in capturing and mixing audio on set, working with some of the biggest names in the film industry. This experience has proven invaluable in his work as a sound designer, where he treats sound design and mixing much like music production, building sequences of sounds that are sure to leave you emotionally stirred and mesmerized. Whether crafting intricate sonic landscapes or designing layered textures, Michael's ability to blend his love of music with his technical expertise is truly exceptional, resulting in soundscapes that are as beautiful as they are unforgettable.
